My truck is garage kept so after initial install I thought the lights weren’t too bad. Saved me 100 bucks over the much higher rated competitor. After parking outside in the rain while camping for two days one of the tail lights completely filled with water. Now the LED strip which is the entire reason I bought these tail lights specifically is shorted out and doesn’t work. I guess it’s my own fault for not realizing the company only gives a 90 day warranty on these taillights.After going back-and-forth a few times with the manufacturer they agreed to send me a new replacement taillight for the side I had issues with. They charged me $20 for shipping which I thought was fair. I am about a year and a half outside of warranty at this point but they made it right. If you’re looking for something cheap that you’re not worried about lasting super long this is a decent option. When they are freshly installed they do look pretty nice and work as they should.Great looking replacement, and an easy install. Kust watched those pegs when sliding it into place. They break easily. Order a LED backup bulb. The regular bulb looks stupid with these. I have had these for a year now and had no moisture issues eitherThe good: price is right, very bright, easy install, look great.The bad: I read other reviewers comments and I decided to be proactive. When I unpackaged the lights, I could see spots where there wasn't a seal around the lights. I had already planned for this by purchasing some silicone and sealed the entier area of the light. So far no moisture. Just wish they would put a bit more effort in their quality control so I didn't have to spend an extra 30 minutes as a preventative.Overall quality is good and they do really look amazing. So if you purchase these, make sure to go the extra step and silicone and seal your lights.These lights look great, with beautiful color and brightness enhancing the color of our Magma Red F-150. Flawless and easy installation. Fitment is very poor, huge gaps in the surrounding area between the lights and vehicle chassis, retainer bolts are visible and much movement in the light housing, I imagine much dirt/dust build up behind the housing itself maybe malfunctions with the wire connections themselves due to moisture. Right side does look more secure than left but left side causes some concern. Will reinstall and update later.I purchased these tail light assemblies almost a year ago and 11 month’s later I saw a little conversation in the passenger rear, so I called ameriliteAnd the person who answered got some info from me and simply said he would send me a replacement just send the old one in within 2weeks. I received my new light sealed it with silicone, just as a precaution and I am happy as can be. For the price and look these are great and they just earned a customer for life. Give them a call if you have a problem, they take care of their customers. No stress.They look fantastic...only took a couple of minutes to install. I threw the stock lights in the trash.The stock lights were harder to get out than these were to put in. I made sure I put silicone around the connections an electrical around the connections. Even though the lights and connections fit well they are after market,so a little more protection should be used. What if you go thru the car wash and one or both stop working ? This extra layer of protection is worth the piece of mind. Sorry for the rant,its too bad everyone else gets to enjoy seeing them but me when I am driving.Just installed 3 days ago and went through a manual car wash. The moment the pre soak hit it, water started collecting in the tail lights. So now I have to return these and buy a different brand.
